IHB serves 160 industries. IHB’s Blue Island Yard is located in Riverdale, IL. The yard is an automatic switching hump yard with 44 classification tracks.
Indiana and Ohio Railway - is a short-line railroad operating primarily in western Ohio, as well as in parts of southeastern Indiana and southeast Michigan. The IORY serves the metropolitan areas of Cincinnati, Columbus, Springfield and Lima, OH over 570 miles of track and interchanges with CFE, CN, CSXT, NS and WE, as well as numerous short lines.

Juniata Valley Railroad - incorporated in 1996 to assume from Conrail the operation of the three branch lines radiating out of Lewistown. These lines include remnants of the former railroads extending to Selinsgrove and to Milroy, and the branch to the West Mifflin Industrial Park.
Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad - with 840 miles of track reaching out in three directions from Wichita, KS to the Colorado border, the KO is one of the largest single shortlines in the industry.
Kaw River Railroad - is located in Kansas City, MO area.
Kendallville Terminal Railway - operates 1 mile of track in Kendallville, Indiana.
Kentucky West Tennessee - is a 69-mile short line freight railroad that interchanges with CSX Transportation.
Keokuk Junction Railway - operates 114 miles from Peoria, Illinois to Keokuk, Iowa, and 12 miles of track from LaHarpe to Lomax, Illinois and was assigned trackage rights from Lomax, Illinois to Ft. Madison, Iowa, a distance of approximately 15.5 miles over the BNSF, allowing the KJRY to interchange traffic with the UP.
Kettle Falls International Railway - operates over 160 miles of former Burlington Northern Santa Fe trackage in Northeastern Washington State and Southeastern British Columbia. KFR operates from the BNSF interchange at Chewelah, Washington to Columbia Gardens, British Columbia. A second line operates from Kettle Falls, Washington to Grand Forks, British Columbia.
Kiamichi Railroad - is located in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas for a total of 261 miles of track. Interchange points with railroads are Madill, OK with the BNSF, Durant, OK and Hope, AR with the UP and Ashdown, AR with the KCS.
Kyle Railroad - is a short-line railroad that runs from North Central Kansas into Eastern Colorado. With 625 miles of track the KYLE offers interchanges to the BNSF and UP.

South Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad - is administered from our Historical Depot, in Cherryvale, Kansas. Operating on more than 404 miles and carrying more than 42,000 loaded railcars, the SKOL serves a diverse customer base.
Southern Ontario Railway - is located in Ontario, Canada. The major interchanges points with the Canadian National are Hamilton, Paris and Brantford and the Canadian Pacific at Hamilton, operates 69 miles of track.

Tri-City & Olympia Railroad - operates freight service from a connection with UP at Richland Jct, WA through the southern connection of the Department of Energy Hanford site (18 miles). TCRY also operates the Port of Olympia (two miles).
Tulsa-Sapulpa Union Railway - operates freight service from Tulsa to Sapulpa, OK (10 miles). Connections are made with UP at Tulsa and BNSF at Sapulpa and Sand Springs. TSU leases and operates the Jenks Industrial Lead from UP. The Jenks Industrial Lead runs 12.9 miles from Tulsa to Jenks, OK.
Twin Cities & Western Railroad - operations between Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota and Milbank, South Dakota, over the former Soo Line's "Ortonville Line".
Union County Industrial Railroad - extends twenve miles from its southern terminus at Winfield, Pa, through West Milton to New Columbia, Pa. This was Reading RR territory.
US Rail Corp - is a short-line railroad operator and provides a variety of value-added rail transportation services. They currently operate two railroads in Ohio and another in Indiana.
Utah Central Railway - operates over 34 miles of rail line in and around Ogden, Utah.
Utah Railway - is a 47-mile short line freight railroad in Utah that interchanges with BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad.
Valdosta Railway - is a 10-mile short line freight railroad in Georgia that interchanges with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
Vandalia Railroad - operates 3 miles of track in Vandalia, Illinois.
Ventura County Railroad - is a short-line railroad that is located in Southwest Ventura County, California. The VCRR currently extends over 17 miles, however it provides an integral corridor for movement of goods in the industrial areas of south of Oxnard, the Port of Hueneme and the US Naval Base Ventura County.
Vermont Rail System - operate over 230 miles of railroad running freight and passenger trains, intermodal and motor carriers services, and a reload-warehouse facility located near Bellows Falls, Vermont.
Vicksburg Southern Railroad - consists of 21 miles of track and will interchange with the KCS at Vicksburg, MS.
Warren & Trumbull Railroad - is a four-mile short line freight railroad in Ohio that interchanges with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
West Michigan Railroad - operates 15 miles of track from Paw Paw to Hartford, Michigan.
West Virginia Central Railroad - is located near the center of the state and passes through Barbour, Randolph, Pocahontas and Webster counties. It was purchased from CSX Transporation on September 26, 1997. The railroad is comprised of the former CSXT Belington, Tygart and Laurel Subdivisions and Dailey Branch. It has a total of 132.13 route miles.
Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway - with trains operating in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland, as well as employing nearly 400 people. The WLE lines interchange with the Canadian National, CSX Transportation, and Norfolk Southern.
Wichita, Tillman, and Jackson Railway - is a 100 mile property composed of a former UPRR branch line and a Rock Island line operating in Texas and Oklahoma. The railroad interchanges with the UP and BNSF in Wichita Falls.
Wilmington Terminal Railroad - is a 17-mile short line freight railroad in North Carolina serving the Wilmington Port Authority and interchanging with CSX Transportation.
Winchester & Western Railroad - is a shortline railroad operating from Gore through Winchester, Virginia and West Virginia to Hagerstown, Maryland. It also operates several lines in southern New Jersey, connecting to Conrail Shared Assets Operations at Millville and Vineland.
Wiregrass Central Railroad - operates 20 miles of track west from Waterford, AL to Enterprise, AL.
Wisconsin & Southern Railroad - is a regional railroad company operating in the southern half of the State of Wisconsin and a small portion of northeastern Illinois. WSOR operates over 700 miles of branch and mainline track traversing a total of 21 counties in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Yellowstone Valley Railroad - located in Montana’s Yellowstone River Valley and is comprised of 2 segments totaling 171 miles. The northern segment, known as the “Scobey Line”, interchanges with the BNSF at Bainville and travels north to Plentywood, Montana. The southern segment, known as the “Sidney line”, travels between two BNSF interchange points, Glendive and Snowden, MT.
York Railway - is a 42-mile short line freight railroad in Pennsylvania that interchanges with Canadian Pacific Railway, CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
Youngstown & Austintown Railroad - is a five-mile short line freight railroad in Ohio that interchanges with CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern, and Youngstown Belt Railroad.
Youngstown Belt Railroad - is a 13-mile short line freight railroad in Ohio that interchanges with CSX Transportation, Mahoning Valley Railroad, Norfolk Southern, Ohio and Pennsylvania Railroad, Warren & Trumbull Railroad, and Youngstown & Austintown Railroad.
